So, Hailey has now had her first airplane ride.....she did AMAZING. We packed the car and headed to Raleigh last Thursday about 1 or so. Our flight was not until 6:40 but I wanted to "show off" Hailey to my coworkers in the Raleigh office. She has not been there since she was 4 weeks old or so. Hailey slept the whole way to Raleigh and then was awake and happy at the office. After we left the office, we grabbed some dinner at Texas Roudhouse and then went to the airport. We got there about 1:45 minutes before our flight. Of course, as soon as we got to the ticket counter to check-in, we were informed that the flight was about 40 minutes delayed. We got our tickets and headed to the the security area. I had pink crocs on Hailey and the security officer made me take them off...I was cracking up inside but I understood. We went to the gate and waited. Hailey was a trooper. We boarded the plan and then we sat on the runway for a bit waiting to take off. Hailey feel asleep right after we took off and slept most of the way. Here is a picture of Hailey on the plane
My mom and dad picked us up at the airport. They were so excited to see Hailey. As always, we ran the whole time we were in New York. Unfortunately, I did not see as many people as I would have liked. We had a bbq at mom and dads on Friday night, then a bbq at Jamie and Brian's on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, we had Rick and Danielle's annual Memorial Day party as well as my Uncle Charlie's 70th birthday party. Then back to NC on Monday.
While we were at Jamie and Brian's on Saturday, Hailey rolled over for the first time. YAY!!!! I put her down for a nap and when I went to check on her she was on her tummy. Below is a picture (not such great quality because I was trying to snap it quick while she was sleeping)
On the way back home, she was just as great traveling, as she was going to New York. We couldn't have asked for more.

I'm so glad that Hailey was an awesome traveler! Makes it easier to go and do things when they are easy like that. I always say...train 'em early! ;)
